With arriving at our last destination, six weeks full of adventure, breathtaking nature, great encounters and lots of fun come to an end. We thank all participants for this unforgettable journey and are happy about the newly created shared memories.

After a very hard day we enjoyed the beautiful sunset even more, while driving through the desert. We were happy though, when we were finally reaching the lodge.
On our way to Sossusvlei we experienced some further adventures: Our 5th flat tyre kept us on our toes as we had to repair it in the middle of the desert.
On our boat trip today we were able to observe flamingos and even had a seal as a visitor on the boat.
Today we were in Swakopmund - a coastal town in Namibia. There was even a "town centre" here.
We really enjoyed the opportunity to meet locals near Palmwag. It is always a pleasure to spend some time together and learn more about the culture.

During today's very early morning drive we were able to observe lions and also a leopard family at close range.
As the areas in the Okavanga Delta are seasonally flooded, there is a lot of water and green space.
Besides lions and elephants in Botswana, we saw giraffes again today and for the first time also a python.
This evening we received a lecture at our lodge about the Kalaharo Desert and its special features.
On our tour we see impressive animals as well as beautiful flowers and plants.
After crossing the border into Botswana, we stood at the edge of the world-famous Makgadikgadi salt pans.
In Botswana there is an impressive landscape - vast steppes and giant lakes with animals like flamingos or pelicans.
